Buena Vista
Spend the day with your family gliding through the treetops on the canopy tour, sliding down the longest mountain waterslide, experiencing the beautiful waterfalls, exploring atop the hanging bridges, and refreshing in the hot spring spa and mud baths.
The Buena Vista Full Day Tour allows guests to enjoy a great variety of activities in one place surrounded by nature and the tranquility of the area. Activities are based on ages of children. Specialized guides trained in adventure tourism are provided for all activities.
Africa Mia
Spend the day with your family at Guanacaste's newest and most unique tourist attraction, Africa Mia offers more than 150 animals. Aside from the native monkeys, wild rabbits, birds, and guatusas, visitors are exposed on an African Safari Wildlife Tour to giraffes, the incredible Giant Eland, endangered bongos, mask-faced oryx, warthogs, zebras, ostriches, antelopes, deer, watusi African cattle and camels.

Kite Surfing & Traditional Surfing for Adults & Teens
The Recreo staff is happy to arrange kite surfing or traditional surfing lessons for adults and teens. A number of kite surfing schools are located at Bahia Salinas bay, just minutes from Recreo. Arrangements can also be made for a day trip to surfing hotspot Tamarindo for traditional surfing lessons.
