We are proud to introduce you to our talented cooking staff at recreo Costa Rica! We understand that one of the most exciting aspects of your vacation is the food. Our guestservices manager works closely with each guest through a personal consultation to ensure that the dining experience is tailored to meet your personal needs,tastes and preferences.
Each of the private Costa Rican Villas at recreo can include a private cook who is highly flexible both in catering to individual tastes and as well as to special dietary requirements. The cook arrives in the morning at the time of your choosing and will prepare your breakfast, which can include fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages or any other foods you request. Fresh juices and fresh fruit smoothies are always on hand and you can always enjoy a cup of delicious Costa Rican coffee.
All meals are served in your villa, on your balcony or patio or poolside while enjoying the views of Costa Rica’s ocean, mountains and surrounding nature. Your cook would also be happy to pack a cooler for a picnic lunch on the beach.
The menus have been designed over time, and are healthy, delicious and varied. The menus are planned around the freshest and finest produce. A variety of different salads are offered – the local produce is wonderful. Fresh fruits and vegetables are always included, both grown locally and brought from other parts of Costa Rica. Our cooks are plentifully supplied with the freshest of produce, dairy products and meats. And of course our seafood is caught by our local fisherman and brought to us to prepare for you. We accept only the freshest same day seafood. Based on what is in season, your menu will include several exceptional seafood dishes. And if you plan a fishing trip, the cooks will be happy to prepare your catch for dinner.
We encourage you to engage your cook and practice your Spanish, and discuss with them your likes and dislikes. Our cooks are trained in the uppermost standards of cleanliness and we take pride in providing the highest quality meals. All of our cooks have the experience, training, personality and professionalism to provide a wonderful culinary experience to be remembered for years to come.
